Triads are the three half-hour periods of the year which have the highest system demand, or the three winter peaks. They fall between November and February, and must be separated by 10 days. This means that Triads are only known after the winter has finished, once the settlement runs are complete - and they affect your Transmission Network Use of System (or TNUoS) charges for the next year.
