🚀 Digital Twin of an Agile Production System – Developed with Unity & WebGL

Students from the Hochschule Karlsruhe (HKA) / University of Applied Sciences have successfully implemented a digital twin of the fischertechnik APS (Agile Production Simulation) system as a WebGL application.

🔄 The system enables real-time visualization of the physical APS via PLC communication, while also offering a fully simulated environment for local testing—mirroring the real system's communication logic.

🌐 Thanks to the WebGL deployment, the digital twin is accessible worldwide, allowing students from partner universities to interact with the system remotely and explore innovative Industry 4.0 concepts.

🤝 As the next step in the international IC DT-P (International Cooperation on Digital Twin Projects) initiative, students from Oman and Tunisia will collaborate with our team to further develop and experiment with smart manufacturing approaches.
