In this video: how to make proper holes in the rubber plates/rings, made from hardened silicone kit between 2 pieces of paper. I made a simple tool (a tube from tin plate with a small overlap, that acts as a “knife” ) by forcing tin plate into a tube that scrapes out a perfect hole when you slowly turn the tube around in the silicone plate, pressing slightly. You can get rid of the paper that is glued to the silicone plate by putting it into some water. After (say) half an hour the paper is soft and you can scrape it away easily with your fingers, leaving a useful silicone “ring”. I first tried to make a hole with a nail scissor, but that did not work (not round and tear through).
