The Swing Offense

Описание к видео The Swing Offense

This video demonstrates the basic operations of the Swing Offense. The Swing Offense is designed to "swing" the ball from one side of the court to the other and back again using passing to challenge the defense.

The Swing Offense was developed by Bo Ryan at UW-Platteville, UW-Milwaukee, and the University of Wisconsin at Madison. In his planning, Bo Ryan desired to develop and implement an offense most difficult for defenses to defend against.

The offense is especially useful in developing player passing, screening, and movement with less emphasis on dribbling. Additionally, the low-post position is used as a specific focus point for higher percentage shots while creating and exploiting matchup challenges for players with post abilities.
