There where two broken wires on one of the Wooden DDR Pads. So we swapped it out and repaired it right on the spot.

This was at Bronycon 2018. The pads have 4 contacts per arrow, this gives them the ability to still function even with some broken wires. All the pads are built with bolts and nuts so that they can be serviced for repairs.

Oh wow, my soldering iron tip looks horrible. That's not whetted at all. Time for a new tip. This is Gorilla electronics repair at it's best.
I really needed to bring dome solder flux for this repair. I like to use Rosin Core solder, but forgot to bring it.

You can see how the bottom contacts are raised to help prevent dirt from getting on them.

I need to find some better T-nuts / furniture nuts since the ones I have tend to strip out easily.
