2024 Seattle Christmas Market Walk & DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Review

Hello, Youtube! First video on the channel and my first trip out with DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to give it a quick review.

I took the family out to the second annual Seattle Christmas Market, which was a great time. If you went to the first market they had last year, I can tell you it is much better this year. Many more food and craft vendors, and the lines were much better.

Keeping it simple—there is no color grading or editing outside of cutting clips. If you’re thinking about purchasing the Pocket 3, I wanted to give you a look at how it performs without any massaging of the footage. I’m also using the onboard microphone rather than the Mic 2. The 3 onboard mics give you stereo sound with pretty good performance. It was a pretty windy night so there is some wind noise, but it still performed impressively.

Pros: I love the ease of use. Flip the screen open and it’s ready to go. The low light performance is pretty outstanding for such a small sensor.

Cons: My biggest complaint is how jarring the tilt motions are on the gimble. It really needs to be slowed down to give that smooth, cinematic look.

If you're on the fence about getting the Pocket 3, it really is a no-brainer. It's fantastic.
