Tavsole is a traditional Maharashtrian Delicacy, now a days rarely prepared and on the verge of extinction. It is a very simple dish to prepare and takes very little time cooking it.
Most of the people know about "Ghavne" or 'neer dosa". Tavsole is a flavored version of Ghavne. Tavsole (cucumber rice pancake) is prepared from batter mixture of Soaked rice and Cucumber or Tavase. It is often served for breakfast with "Naralacha Ras" ( Sweet Coconut Milk).
It was a beautiful sunny day, Pooja was preparing for breakfast. I got to know from our neighbors that Pooja's uncle has come in our town. I asked Pooja to prepare a quick breakfast for them. She told me that she has already soaked the rice last night and will prepare something quick out of it. Meanwhile I brought Pooja's uncle home till the She prepare "Tavsole".
