🏔️ Journey Highlights:
🚗 Shimla to Chitkul – India’s last village with the cleanest air, as per IIT Delhi. A stop at the famous Mathi Devi Temple and a warm cup of chai at Hindustan’s last dhaba is a must!

🌄 Khab Sangam – The dramatic confluence of the Spiti and Sutlej rivers, marking the gateway to Spiti’s barren landscapes.

🏞️ Nako Village – A peaceful paradise at 3,662m with the scenic Nako Lake in the heart of the village.

🙏 Tabo Monastery – One of India’s oldest monasteries, where even the Dalai Lama has expressed a wish to retire. A sacred center for Buddhist learning.

⛰️ Dhankar Monastery – Perched on a cliff at 12,774 feet, this 1,000-year-old monastery is in the race to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

🌌 Kaza – The heart of Spiti Valley, home to the highest post office (Hikkim), highest motorable village (Komic), and the iconic Key Monastery.

🌉 Chicham Bridge – Asia’s highest suspension bridge at 13,600 feet, an engineering marvel once crossed by locals using a pulley system!

📬 Hikkim – The World’s Highest Post Office – Send a postcard from the top of the world (though delivery isn’t guaranteed—I sent three, and none arrived! 😅)

🏔️ Langza & Gui Monastery – Where your phone might connect to China’s timezone! Plus, witness India’s only 500-year-old mummified monk at Gui.

🏞️ Kalpa – Ending the expedition with a view of the majestic Kinnaur Kailash Range.
