In this video you will learn how you can generate random numbers, with the Random Number Tool from Bot Tools.

Use Case
You will be taken through a simple use case of random numbers being generated between 1 and 10, with just the click of a button. Other use cases include; passwords, raffle numbers, lottery numbers and more.

Implementation
First you need to create a Custom Field for the ‘random number’ within ManyChat. Then, within Bot Tools, you will need to select the parameters of the random number being generated, for example between 1 and 10. You can then set it to either a user field or bot field. This field will dictate where the random number is generated within the bot.

Once you have put in your preferences, click onto the blue ‘Copy URL’ button. Then return to the flow and paste the URL into the ‘Request URL’ section of the dynamic content block. Following this, click ‘Body’ followed by ‘Full Subscriber Data’, and then ‘Save’.
