LED light panels are an essential bit of photography equipment for both stills photography and video.

There are many small LED light panels with hot shoe mounts that are marketed as the "perfect" on camera light solution, and whilst these can be used on the camera's hot shoe I would never recommend it, and this is explored in this short clip.
