E3 2016 is in full effect and lots of new games are being shown. Let’s have a look at the console exclusive games for the Xbox One, because there’s quite a lot to choose from. Here are 10 awesome upcoming Xbox One exclusives!

1. Gears of War 4 - Oct 11th 2016

If you had any doubts about Gears of War 4 last year, the latest E3 demo should have taken those away. The game looks amazing and we can’t wait to see James Fenix joining his old dad to fight a new threat and save mankind from extinction.

2. Forza Horizon 3 - Sept 27th 2016

Forza Horizon 3 drops you in Australia. You are in charge of the Horizon Festival and can set up races with any of the over 350 available cars. Race through the city, on the beaches or go off road into the wilderness, it’s all up to you.

3. Dead Rising 4 - Rumored: Dec 6th 2016

Ever since Dead Rising was released on the Xbox 360, the series has been a favorite of ours. Sure, Dead Rising 3 was a bit of a downer, but in Dead Rising 4 Frank is Back. And so is the comedy aspect of the series. Now grab that lawnmower and destroy some zombies!

4. Sea of Thieves - 2016

The presentation of Sea of Thieves at E3 was perhaps a bit cheesy, but the open world pirate game sure seems like a lot of fun! You can do all kinds of pirate stuff with your friends online, ranging from sea battles to getting drunk. Sounds like a cool game to us!

5. ReCore - Sept 13th 2016

From the man behind Mega Man comes a new platformer for the Xbox One. ReCore is not so much about shooting as it is about movement. In this game robots are your enemy, but you can also make them your friends by switching out their cores. Interesting to say the least.

6. State of Decay 2 - 2017

Survival is key in State of Decay 2. This sequel to the multiplayer zombie survival game looks like a lot of fun. You can play alone or work together with others to create your own story in this unforgiving world. Your choices will matter… and remember, it’s much harder to survive alone.

7. Halo Wars 2 - 2016

On the Xbox 360 we were surprised how well Halo Wars played, and now with Halo Wars 2 the team is taking it to the next level. Expect big battlefields and a new brutal enemy. The story continues where Halo 5: Guardians ended and thanks to the help of the Total War developers, this is the most ambitious Halo Wars yet.

8. We Happy Few - TBD

We Happy Few tells the story of an English society that lost the Second World War. The citizens of Wellington Wells are taking a drug called “Joy” to deny their grim existence and terrible past. But what happens when you stop taking Joy and you discover reality? Now that is one interesting game world and premise.

9. Cuphead - 2016

If you would combine the hardcore gameplay of old school Mega Man with the art style of Disney’s most classic cartoons, you would get Cuphead. This gorgeous looking action platformer is really hardcore and requires lots of skill to play. We have been excited about this one since its announcement!

10. Scalebound - - 2017

What is more awesome than fighting monsters? Well… fighting them with dragons on your side while blasting music over your headphones. Drew and his noble dragon need to battle together to save Earth and Draconis. Expect over the top combat, because this game is made by the guy behind Devil May Cry.
