Launched in Australia in 1998, Thru-Pence Ha-Penny has been owned by her current owner for over a decade. The centre cockpit layout offers extremely safe, dry and easy sailing. All cockpit winches are very easily reached by one person at the helm. A bow thruster has been added. Masses of deck locker storage and deck space is found plus excellent access to the water or the dock via the transom and the port and starboard opening gates.

Accommodation consists of two large cabins, both with ensuites and the aft cabin is simply massive for a 40’ yacht. A big-line galley with deep refrigeration, microwave and two burner stove with oven is to port. The big saloon table features an additional leaf plus the whole table slides allowing the walk-through access going forward to be uninterrupted. A dedicated nav station is to port with colour plotter and radar. The whole interior screams that old-school Beneteau quality.

This Oceanis 40 CC has a good list of service history with some big ticket items such as the hull paint, most hatches and all standing rigging being renewed just a few years ago.
