Setting Up an Experimental Brackish Water Paludarium For Fiddler Crabs and Macro Algae

So, I'm not 100% sure this is going to be a successful build, but my goal with this Aqueon 20 Gallon tank is to make a paludarium for Fiddler Crabs, Endler's LiveBearers, Opae Ula Shrimp, and Macro Algae.

The goal is to slowly convert fiddler crabs, livebearers, and Opae Ula shrimp from freshwater to brackish water, and change what is normally saltwater macroalgae to brackish water.

I can see the Fiddler Crabs making life for macroalgae incredibly difficult, but I am excited about this adventure! Stay Tuned for updates!

Here is the equipment that I have used for this build:

Aqueon - 20 Gallon Long
CaribSea - Fiji Pink Sand - https://amzn.to/3XemkqR
Fluval M100 Heater - https://amzn.to/3IBlRuq
Nicrew SkyLED Aquarium Lights - https://amzn.to/3CvBKij
Lifegard Aquatics Dragon Ohko Stone - https://amzn.to/3Qqxx5q
HITOP Aquarium Air Pump - https://amzn.to/3GobEPx

I provided a link to Amazon for each product if anyone is interested in picking up some of these supplies. I am a part of the Amazon Associate program and any purchases made using the links will provide me with a small commission. I appreciate any support!

The sponge placed into the fish tank is only planned to be temporary to help seed the tank with beneficial bacteria.
