In this video, I'm testing seven of the most popular kick drum mics to see how they compare. These are all excellent professional level options that help your kick cut through the mix with clarity and weight.

For the shootout, I used my Tama Star Walnut kit with a 22"x16" bass drum. Everything was recorded into Logic using the Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 4th Gen interface.
