We'll see in this video, when you plug a detachable media into your computer, such as a CD, DVD, or memory card, you'll frequently get Windows' "AutoPlay" prompt. AutoPlay recognizes the type of disc or media you've inserted and performs the action you've requested. However, if you find AutoPlay to be an annoyance, you can easily disable it in Windows 10. You may, however, leave AutoPlay on and adjust how it operates. Select the default action you want AutoPlay to take when you connect each type of media or device under "Choose AutoPlay Defaults." A flash drive, memory card, or even your smartphone might be the culprit.
