This webinar was organized by the Research and Policy Integration for Development (RAPID), in collaboration with International Budget Partnership, Washington, USA.

Honorable Planning Minister Mr. M A Mannan, MP, graced the event as the Chief Guest and Esteemed former governor of Bangladesh Bank, Dr. Atiur Rahman, chaired the event.

The Open Budget Survey (OBS) is the world's only independent, comparative and fact-based research instrument that uses internationally accepted criteria to assess public access to central government budget information; formal opportunities for the public to participate in the national budget process; and the role of budget oversight institutions, such as legislatures and national audit offices in the budget process.

The survey is facilitated by the International Budget Partnership - a global partnership of budget analysts, community organizers, and advocates working to advance public budget systems that work for people, not special interests.

The objective of this event is to share the findings of OBS 2021.
