Langdales • Successful Jack’s Rake Challenge • Pavey Ark over Stickle Tarn with Harrison Stickle

Описание к видео Langdales • Successful Jack’s Rake Challenge • Pavey Ark over Stickle Tarn with Harrison Stickle

The Langdale mountains in the Lake District are utterly impressive – whether you have seen them before or not. I used the usual route up from the valley, past Stickle Tarn and then up Pavey Ark via the challenging Jack’s Rake route. Sorted, with some effort and careful clambering. I then pushed on and over Harrison Stickle, over to Pike of Stickle of course, and back over Loft Crag before going back down over Mark Gate.

I had trouble with my phone direction arrow on the OS Map app. My little red arrow got broken, no idea how. It is okay now, since I finished the trek, but on the way down it was pointing (while I was half way down Mark Gate) a complete 180 degrees the wrong way, that is back the way I had come. Magnetic interference I assume in the rock.

I hope you enjoy watching this video and feel that you have tagged along with me.
