PALCS Middle School students meet up at our Western office for a double feature presentation from the Carnegie Museum of Natural History's "Bring the Museum to You" program!

During this Middle School Lab, the museum brought two presentations to us:
Dino Detectives and Nighttime Animals!

With Dino Detectives, students examined the diversity and adaptations of dinosaurs across time by comparing dinosaur teeth, claws, and other replica fossils.

In Nighttime Animals, students designed their own constellations, identified the sounds of nocturnal animals, learned about how nocturnal predators hunt their prey, and met some live animal ambassadors from the museum!
