Hongbin "Bill" Ma, a professor in the University of Missouri College of Engineering, demonstrates how quickly the Lexo tumbler can cool a hot drink to a desirable drinking temperature. Ma developed the mug using a phase-change material that is able to rapidly cool down a hot beverage to the ideal drinking temperature and then maintain that temperature for up to eight hours.
