The Series:
Shata Raaga Ratna Maalikache, inspired by lines from Saint Thyagaraja's kriti, is a humble attempt by G.O.D. worldwide to weave a garland of Sri Swamiji's compositions with 100 precious gems (Madhurageethams) in 100 different ragas.
Madhurageethams are compositions of HH Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji which have emerged from Him during moments of His blissful communion with the Divine.

The kirtan:
The bright and vibrant Abhogi ragam, emanates liveliness and positivity. The very objective for any spiritual seeker is reaching the purpose of human birth, which is God realization. Sri Swamiji, in this kirtan, requests Sri Krishna to ensure that He reaches that state in this birth itself. The reassuring notes of Abhogi resonate Sri Swamiji's unflinching faith that Krishna would certainly grant that prayer, since there is nothing that is impossible for Bhagavan.
The poetic brilliance in this song, is the presence of yamaka or praasa, that is alliteration - the second syllable of every line is ra/ri.
