While certainly influenced by western comics, from the start, the Japanese Manga has paved its own path. It encompasses a wide array of genres, some of which were selfdom explored in America and Europe, it hasn't focused solely on young male readers as much of western comics, and of course it has developed an art style and even a graphic language that is unique to itself. All the while, gaining more and more space among readers of every nationality. These are the 100 best manga series of all time.

A personal note: Most of my videos rely mostly on my personal experience of reading comics for decades (let's say 80%), supported by some amount of research (20%). In the case of Manga, for the first time since this channel's inception, this trend has inverted. While I have read and continue to read material in the hope of forming an opinion, this list more than any other has been based heavily on research and polling opinions of those better versed in the subject than me.
