What's up guys, it's Pete, and this is the Infinity Label Group Print Lab, where we test out the functions and capabilities of printers like this Epson ColorWorks C6000a and pass our knowledge onto you. Today, what we're going to be doing is walking through the process of loading and printing fanfold, rear-fed media from this printer, so let's get started.

Before we get into the details, you're going to want to make sure you have a nice, full stack of die-cut fanfold labels. If you don't have these yet, you can always go to www.infinitylabelgroup.com and order yours today, and we'll have them there as soon as possible.

There are two ways to set your C6000 to look for rear-fed media. The first method involves using your printer's interface to go to the menu, then media settings, then go down to media source, and select 'Rear Feed'. In our situation, we're also going to be using gap media (so make sure that setting is correct) and then change your media form to fanfold.

The second method involves going into your media settings from your driver, and changing your media settings that way. Once you're in the printer driver, the settings are laid out pretty much the same way as they are on the interface. Change the media source, the media detection, and the media type.

Now that the printer knows what to look for, we can go ahead and open the rear latch. I find it's easier to remove the internal core media holder completely and set it aside so it's out of the way.
From here all you need to do is take the leading edge of your fanfold labels and guide it between the media guides and into the printing mechanism until the printer takes the labels. Don't forget to use this blue button to adjust your media guides so that your labels are held nice and snug. Go ahead and close that media cover up, and we're ready to get printing.

If you want to know more about the capabilities of the Epson C6000 printer, hop over to our YouTube channel where we have an entire playlist that reviews the functions and capabilities of the printer. If you need ink, labels, or supplies, head over to www.infinitylabelgroup.com and order yours today. If you have questions or comments, go to www.ipsiscan.com. This has been Pete, I'll see you next time.
