Have you ever wondered how to install a ceiling fan in a van with a fiberglass top? We weren't sure it could be done.... until we did it!!! Join us in this video as we demonstrate just how we accomplished this!

The fan we used is a Zephyr by Heng's Industries. It was about $140 at Richland RV in Flint, Michigan. Let us know how your fan install goes!

Due to the fact that my dream of moving to Cambodia was cut short earlier this year due to the pandemic and global circumstances (you can watch all about that in the past videos), my partner and I re-convened in the United States and decided to pursue a new dream in the meantime, as we wait for all the dust to settle.

We bought a 1995 Ford E350 Diesel Ambulance with the remainder of our nest egg and have been converting it into our home over the past few months. (slowly, but surely....!) Once Jambo is complete, we're taking her cross country to see the beauty of our homeland. This van has a pretty rich and interesting history. We purchased the van through D&L Auto Sales in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Uncannily I ran into the former owner downtown Kalamazoo, and he told me his story. He had used this ambulance as a "Jambulance." At one point it was outfitted with 18 speakers and he cruised around the West Coast, primarily San Francisco, maintaining a business throwing wild parties with loud music blasting from the van. This lent the unit to be pretty rust-free! This former owner then landed back in Michigan and went to Africa for a couple years. Upon his return he sold the Jambulance and is now concerting another larger ambulance.

And now.... Jambo is ours!! We are going to keep the exterior of the van as is, in order to keep some of its history. But the inside is undergoing a MASSIVE transformation. Join us in this multi-episode van-build series
