This NewAir cigar humidor was well-packed for shipping. It arrived in a large cardboard box that ensured it was safely delivered.

The only issue I had when I first received this NewAir humidor was that the inside of the glass door has some sort of adhesive or substance. However, I was able to clean it up with some goo-gone.

This humidor is essentially a coolidor, as it keeps the cigars at your desired temperature but it does not have any kind of in-built humidifying function. The humidification is taken care of by the cedar shelves and Boveda packs you place inside.

Unlike other cigar humidors you may find online, this NewAir X Boveda Humidor was designed specifically for cigars. It seals really well, which ensures the temperature and humidity inside is stable (as long as you don't open it frequently.)

Inside, it has various slotted cedar shelves that are ideal for storing cigars. Moreover, it has a peg system that further helps to organize cigars inside of the humidor on the shelves.

Towards the bottom of the humidor, some of the shelves are better described as drawers. These are deeper than the higher shelves and can be used for cigar boxes you may want to store longer-term.

02:53 No Seasoning Required
NewAir indicates that no seasoning of the cedar is required, so as soon as you have unpacked this humidor from the delivery box, you can plug it in and use it to store your cigars. This is a significant time save compared to other humidors that must be seasoned for 2 weeks.

While this is a 500-count cigar humidor, space is still limited for storing cigar boxes. To get the most out of the space, you will definitely have to remove the cigars from their boxes. You could also remove some of the shelves, but again, this will reduce the total amount of cigars you can store.

Another downside is the fact that the door does not have any kind of locking mechanism, nor does the humidor come with a hygrometer, so you'll have to use or buy your own.

Finally, the price may be a bit prohibitive for you. However, considering that this is a high-quality unit, I think it's definitely worth it for keeping a cigar collection not just safe but properly humidified.
