The ABC model of ABA (applied behavior analysis) is explained through the three different parts, antecedent, behavior, consequence. The video explains how the ABC model with its ABC charts are a part a students functional behavior assessment, also known as the FBA to classroom teachers. A brief definition of ABC charts and and the ABC model for applied behavior analysis is given. A definitive example is also given as well, where the antecedent is given with a prime example, the problem behavior is question is identified, and lastly the consequence is given also. The importance of an ABC chart along with why abc charts are important in their relation functional behavioral assessments. This video is part of a playlist designed for teachers, child study team, case mangers, principals, educators, behaviorists, and more to understand certain triggers for student behavior.
