Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh: Gifts of the Wise Men

Why did the wise men bring gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh? We don't know for sure, but there is some powerful symbolism that relates each of these to the atonement, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, teaching us that all things point to Him.
