Destiny 2 Lore - The Euphony Raid Exotic and The Dread Language. A Rosetta's Stone or a Dead End?

Destiny 2's Lore and Story from the Final Shape's raid, Salvation's Edge includes the lore tab of the Euphony. This exotic weapon hints at a wall in the Pale Heart with text that the vanguard has translated which might be the key to unravelling the language of the Witness's army, The Dread. But this theory has a few pretty substantial holes in it. Today I wanted to explore this theory and why despite it being fascinating, it probably doesn't lead us to an answer on the language of the Dread.
