The so-called 'ghetto-law' is forcing residents of Mjølnerparken out of their homes. The board of the non-profit housing association Bo-Vita has decided to sell two of the four blocks in Mjølnerparken so that the apartments can be rented out privately and generate higher returns - at the expense of ordinary people. Bo-Vita, which is moreover responsible for rehousing those residents who are now being forcibly displaced, is providing a nontransparent and negligent service. Residents have been moved from one temporary home to the next.
Come stand in solidarity with residents in Mjølnerparken, to show that we do not accept the discriminatory ghetto law which is forcing people out of their homes, nor Bo-Vita’s unjust treatment of residents.
The residents are fighting back! They have a UN-backed litigation case against the Ministry of Housing and several residents have individual legal cases against Bo-Vita regarding the eviction notices.
