Berkley Fusion Rod Reel Combo Review

I purchased a rod and reel combo from Walmart a couple of months ago that I review in this video. The brand is a Berkley Fusion. I've caught a lot of fish on this spinning rod and reel combination.

Here are the specifications for your review:

1. Spinning reel has a 5.2:1 gear ration

2. Holds line up to 25 lb. test

3.Comes spooled with 17 lb. test Berkely Trilene monofilament

4. Has a reel size somewhere around 3500-4000, not specified

5. 7' medium action rod

I've been meaning to do a review of this spinning reel combo for a while now because this is an excellent product for the money. I looked at several different rod and reel combos that Walmart had at affordable prices. The Berkley combination seemed to have the firmest rod and the reel was the smoothest of all that I tried.

I replaced a Shakespeare Contender Fishing Combo that broke on me with the Berkley brand. You can see my review of why didn't like the Shakespeare combo here:

When I took the broken Shakespeare rod back to Walmart they fully refunded my money, no questions asked. That's why I like shopping at that store.
