***Gas is very expensive in California! Everything there is definitely more expensive than where I live in Michigan! I got super lucky using my friend's Toyota Prius, which got extremely good gas milage (maybe renting a car in California, a hybrid is a good way to go, AND I used my Costco membership for cheaper gas, which works in any state in the US! (I also used it in Seattle when I rented a car there in 2021), but if you want to save money driving, don't have a great friend like mine who lives in California, and who was willing to let you use her car, and even stay with her to save money, or if maybe you just even prefer public transit for whatever reason, and don't like driving, check out the link below to San Francisco's Bay Area Rapid Transit's (BART) website, for cheap and easy, above- ground, transit tickets! The BART was super clean and nice, when I took it in San Fran, and I never once felt unsafe! I never trust googled news articles or mainstream media sources more than I trust REAL people's experiences and travel vlogs, so I am testifying in my own travel vlog here, to the fact that San Francisco did NOT feel unsafe to me the entire time that I was there, traveling by myself, but it was definitely a huge blessing to be able to stay with my lifelong friend, and her family, who live in the Bay Area! I am super thankful! :)

*This video shows FREE PARKING* if anyone who IS driving near and around the Golden Gate Bridge, (like I did here while traveling, and who is also on a budget), with an up close view of the bridge! There are lots of cheaper ways to travel if you are willing to adventure a little and know what you are doing! :)
