Advaita Academy celebrated Shankara Jayanti 2021 by organizing the 2nd Edition of Global Festival of Oneness, from May 17 to June 16th. As part of the festival we featured talks by around 60 Scholars, Sages, and Seekers to share about Shankara’s life, works and influence across multiple dimensions that include Philosophy, Oneness, Leadership and more.

On May 30th, Evening session : Shri Surya Tahora spoke on the topic "Vedanta and Leadership". Surya ji elaborated how a leader who has an understanding of the true nature of the Self, and engages with the world with the perspective that I am not an isolated entity but I am a part of a larger interconnected world, no longer feels to resist or over control and manipulate people and hurt them in the process by impractical ways. They are focused, practical, objective, compassionate and centered when faced with storms and uncertainties.

Surya Tahora has a unique combination of personal background, international exposure and education which makes him an inspiring writer and teacher. He combines his understanding of modern society with the knowledge of Indian Philosophy in a unique manner to impart a wisdom that is highly relevant in the present day. He is currently Director, Centre for Wisdom in Leadership and Professor at SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai, India. He is teaching Spirituality and Management for MBA and Executive MBA students.
