This video is part 11 of my COMPACT motion simulator series. 3 degrees of freedom, 12 volt using the arduino, IBT motor controllers, SMC3 and simtools. In this episode I am going to break down the new rig and weigh the larger components to get a comparison to past for future motion simulator weight data. I'll reassemble the motion simulator show you the assembly process and then do a bit of wire management to keep it looking good. It's a bit of a long video for me but if you really are interested in DIY motion simulators, like this 3DOF DIY motion simulator I showed how to make in the "compact" motion simulator series, then this video is for you.. please comment as I do attempt to cover even the most basic soldering, what to order, how to do it etc..

other motor controllers you could consider using are JRK12V12 or Sabertooth but I use IBT-2's

XSIMULATOR forum - Info specifically for arduino/IBT-2 for 1 to 3 Motors. You can use up to three motors per arduino. But you each motor needs it's own IBT-2 controller.
