A Podmores Conical Bowl Feeder orientating plastic caps. The Bowl Feeder first moves the caps into a vertical position on flights which work up around the inside of the bowl. Then, using tooling specialised by Podmores over 80 years, caps are rejected if they are the wrong way around and allowed to continue if correct. The machine can maintain a fast rate and is capable of working with 4 different sizes of caps without alteration. The outlet of the Bowl Feeder is a singulation unit specifically created for our customer's requirements and releases a single cap on request ready to place onto a bottle running under the bowl on a belt conveyor.
