The ongoing probe against IAS probationary Puja Khedkar for allegedly forging disability certificates has cast a shadow on the selection process for civil services. On social media, some bureaucrats are being called out for wrongly using disability certificates to secure a position in the service.

Abhishek Singh, a bureaucrat-turned-actor, responded to allegations against him for using a disability certificate for selection into the Union Public Service Commission.

Singh, a 2011-batch IAS officer, resigned last year to become an actor. His videos on social media, where he is seen dancing and exercising, became a topic of contention as he claimed to have a locomotor disability to allegedly avail concessions in the UPSC selection process.
