The Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India was set up by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India for promoting the exports of pharmaceuticals and allied products from India. Council has been undertaking various promotional activities across the regions for the benefit of pharma exporters with the support of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
Pharmexcil has been regularly organizing business delegations to potential LAC countries to showcase the strengths of Indian pharma industry. In view of the pandemic situation, the council proposes to host a webinar followed by Virtual BSM with the potential countries in all the regions. Mexico has been one of the focus markets of Pharmexcil members considering the fact that it is one of the major markets in the LAC region. Indian Pharma Exports to Mexico have remained almost constant during the last 5 years and in FY-20, our exports to Mexico are 159.96 Mn USD.
To advance the Indian Pharma trade with Mexico and other potential countries, Pharmexcil held a Webinar on “India: Colombia & Mexico Cooperation in Pharmaceutical Sector” on 18th August 2020.
