2015 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Premium + Performance Package. Review & Test Drive. The 2015 Mustang features an 5.0L V8 engine, an independent rear suspension, and an optional 6 speed manual transmission. The Mustang features a proper muscle car power plant, with a cross-plane V8 producing 435 HP and 400 lb-ft of torque sent to the rear wheels through a Torsen limited slip differential. It also features launch control which will hold the revs between 3000-4500 RPM (driver adjustable) and line-lock to perform a burnout (recommended for track use only).
