The development of the new Chopper

We talked to our Product Manager Jason about the development of the new Chopper and how alike it is to an original Mk2... Pretty similar eh?

Rest assured – this is no bog-standard copy. After four years of meticulous research and product development, we’ve reverse-engineered an old MK2 to create an (almost) exact replica of the original Chopper (with a few tiny tweaks to make it safe for 2023 riders). From the carefully crafted frame and UK-made 3-speed shifter right down to the vintage decals, this is a Chopper diehard fans will be proud of.

And those classic MK2 colourways? They’re back too. Paint-matched to the original models, the new Raleigh Chopper comes in a choice of fiery Infra Red and bold Ultra Violet – ready to warm the hearts of all you old-school riders.
