Do ball bearings make a difference over bushings in RC? Running Tamiya Man Truck

Some RC models come stock with bushings over bearings. The Tamiya Man trucks are one such example. Bearings do make a difference. The amount will depend on the model. In the case of the Tamiya TT-01 model with stock electronics it made a 2mph (3kph) difference using the same Team Powers Shorty 5500mAh battery. Both trucks used the same battery and body.
