💣 The theme of the Jam was “Dimension Change” and I needed to take an existing 2D mechanic/game and turn it into a 3D boi. The catch? Jam only lasts 2 days. But I had only one full day for ALL the stuff!
For my entry I decided to remake classic Bomberman mechanic of placing bombs in tight corridors and running for your life until it exploded in your face.
There’s already ton of 3D remakes out there, but the gameplay haven’t changed a bit, it’s still happening on a 2D plane, just with fancier graphics. So that settled it, I would remake Bomberman, but with full verticality and make it first-person!
Guys, please comment if you’d like to see this prototype turned into a full-fledged game!
