Finding the camshaft position sensor on a 2018 Nissan Altima can be confusing because the location depends on your engine.

*2.5L 4-cylinder (most Altimas):* The cam sensor is on the *front/top of the engine* on the **intake side of the cylinder head**, right where the **timing cover meets the head**. It’s a small sensor with a connector and is held in by **one 10mm bolt**.
