Smooth Arrival at VIT AP A Quick Guide for New Students

1.Since I need to go and get my no due signatures done I want to make a mini vlog to incoming students so that they can watch this video and plan accordingly. Only thing is we need to be careful is from Secretariat to VIT AP make sure you are in group you can in reasonable price or else no worries you can hop on bike who are going on the way so that they will drop you comfortably .Rest everything is smooth .Transport facility is excellent at Secreteriat because you get every 15 minutes bus available there. You need a group to go together or else try to negotiate that will be good to go.

For bus - at Pandit Nehru Bus Station platform number 43 you .When I went there ,I didn't see any bus number ,maybe it can change but do check there and fare ₹35 (Estimated time - 40 - 45 minutes)

After you reach at bus station make sure to reach at this landmark.

For bikes - Kindly reach near a cross road called 'AP State legal authority center'

Group sharing auto(Also called service) - ₹20-30*(Try to gather group)

Single sharing Auto - ₹100*(Avoid this unless & untill you are having enough luggage)

*Above rates can change from time to time

Few buses will pass you can request them

Bike passerby as well like to request them like I did it .

Avoid the first step for sure since you can utilize below options or else you can follow the above. I am sure it is pin pointed clear to you .

IF you are single like me you must follow what I have done that will be easy but a bit tricky.

This info is for anyone even parents/relatives/like me / to visit for first time to use above facility.

2.If you are returning to hostel / alumni / convocation / vacation / new joiners /finished your exam (cat/fat)- You will surely get transport from VIT.In this case you no need to go to the step that I went .You can follow rules what they have allotted


3.If you are Day scholar then no need to think about it but if you are participating in any event or trials you can check the first option I kept.


4.Ola,uber are not available to book from here (Secreteriat) but they are available from City Center.You can go and conveniently book through ride hailing app.

5.There will be weekend trips .This will be taken care by VIT .

6.If you come from airport better book taxi to come here.

7.If you are coming from Railway station you can walk or else you can take auto .My expectations of fare will be around ₹20 its reasonable ,it should not be more than this. So please check this .From bus station you can check out I explained.
