“Põhjala lahing'' (The Battle of Põhjala) is the first ever Estonian bagpipe techno track. It’s based on a dialogue between awesome sounding Estonian bagpipes and iconic Roland TB-03 analog synthesizer. You remember techno viking, yes? Now try to imagine him raving to bagpipes :D This is our track!

About us:
We are an audiovisual folktronica band and get inspiration from Estonian folklore and acid/techno synths like TB303 and TR909. It's folk on acid or acid folk, but we call it folktronica. Our mission is to share Estonian folklore through the sound of acid and techno. We started as a band 3 years ago and so far have built our very first studio (can't believe - it's a dream), started producing Folktronica Showcase at Tallinn Music Week 2020 (welcome to 2021) not to mention performing here and there. OOPUS name comes from Latin word 'opus' and means an artistic work, or a masterpiece. So we have our hands full all the time :)
