I attach the 1x4 rub rails... but before I can do that I must remove the poor lamination that the previous owner laid up on the outside of the hull.The combination of not enough resin and poor prep work lead to a immanent delamination issue.

I grind down a 5" strip to the core plywood in order to attach the rub rail but the entire bottom will be redone after I they are attached and the decks get framed.
