IIT Madras is providing a 100% fee waiver to all the eligible students to pursue studies

Eligible students now no longer have to bother about the #tuitionfee or feel stressed because of the financial burden on them, as IIT Madras is providing a 100% fee waiver to all the eligible #students.

Thanks to the benevolent #alumni and #CSR partners, the 'Merit-cum-Means Scholarship' has been applicable to all B.Tech students whose annual parental income is below Rs 5 lakhs category for two consecutive years.

The #MCMScholarship, in combination with the two-third tuition fee waiver by Government of India for students in this category, covers the entire tuition fees of eligible B.Tech./Dual Degree students belonging to EWS/GE/OBC Categories.

Highlighting the importance of such financial support, Prof. V. Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras, said, “We are trying our best to provide as much financial support as possible to our needy students. We convey our immense thanks to the donors for making this happen.”
