2024 Toyota Corolla review // Strong sales because of value!

This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2024 Toyota Corolla compact sedan. Although the 2024 Toyota Corolla is a spacious sedan it’s not quite as big as the Honda Civic, they offer about the same front row legroom but the 2024 Toyota Corolla falls short in second row legroom by over 2.5”. We are driving the 2024 Toyota Corolla XSE model with a 2L 4-cylinder matched to a CVT, 169 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque, this is a FWD sedan. The cabin is comfortable and practical with Toyota grade materials. The 2024 Toyota Corolla comes standard with cloth seats, available sport fabric seats and SofTex trimmed seats you see on our test model with red accents. Standard features include, a 4.2” multi-information display, 8” touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, manual front seats and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0.
In Canada, we recommend moving up one from the base model to get key features like heated front seats, blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. You can add an upgrade package to this trim to get extras like 16” wheels, a moonroof, wireless charger and a heated steering wheel. A power driver’s seat, heated rear seats and the 9-speaker JBL sound system are standard on the top trim.
In the US, heated front seats are standard and you can add a package to this trim for the moonroof and a wireless charger. A heated steering wheel and heated rear seats are not available in the US. The JBL sound system is available in a package which can be added to the two top trims.
In Canada, the base 2024 Toyota Corolla model starts at $26,372 CAD, LE $27,372 CAD, LE Upgrade $29,562 CAD, SE $28,932 CAD, SE Upgrade $31,682 CAD and XSE $34,032 CAD.
In the US, the 2024 Toyota Corolla LE $22,050 USD, SE $24,490 USD, Nightshade $25,490 USD and XSE $27,150 USD.
2024 Toyota Corolla fuel economy, especially on the highway is excellent, 7.4L/100 km, 31 MPG city
and 5.7L/100 km, 40 MPG highway.
We are driving the top 2024 Toyota Corolla XSE model with a metallic interior trim, chrome interior door handles, SofTex trimmed seats with red cloth inserts giving it a bit of a sportier vibe. Other features on this model include, heated fronts seats, a heated steering wheel, a power driver’s seat, manual passenger seat, 8” touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, 7” multi-information display, driver seat lumbar support, a moonroof, heated rear seats, a 9-speaker JBL sound system and 18” wheels.
In the US, you can add the JBL sound system to the top trim, it’s not standard. Heated rear seats and a heated steering wheel are not available on any trim.
