Julio Fabian "Fafa" Almentero, along with Stephen Goldman Jr. and Jimmie Atkins, is accused of murdering 15-year-old Collin Romero and 14-year-old Ahmed Lateef. Despite three out of the five individuals involved being minors, the crime—apparently related to a drug deal—was one of the most violent the local police had encountered. During questioning, Almentero's mother, present due to his minor status, appears unsettlingly indifferent to his confession.
