Sustainable gated community in Ghana | Building with indigenous materials | Real Estate in Ghana

Описание к видео Sustainable gated community in Ghana | Building with indigenous materials | Real Estate in Ghana

In this video, we tour a sustainable development built out of timber and earth; designed by the architectural firm Orthner and Orthner Associates.

We walk and talk through the project with the lovely Akosua Obeng, a partner of the firm.

This is a project by Samartex, one of the leading, sustainable and socially responsible wood processing companies in Ghana.

These homes are designed following the principles of sustainable use of materials and resources, low energy and water consumption, wastewater treatment and reuse, solar water heating and photovoltaic power generation.

In next week's video, we will cover the price points, how to contact orthner and orthner associates and their current affordable housing project.
