"No Waste" Chicken Feeders DO NOT WORK

In this video I'm gonna explain why these zero waste or no waste chicken feeders do not work. I also have my DIY chicken feeder design and hopefully this will give you ideas or even improve upon it. I hope you enjoy the video.

BASIC DIMENTIONS FOR THIS PARTICULAR BUILD:
** Diameter for the chicken head access is 1.75 inches -- This was for younger chickens and you can enlarge that to probably 2 inches diameter for adult chickens.
** Hole location is around 3.75 inches from the bottom to the center of the circle.
** The size of the square holes at the bottom of the hopper is 1.25 x 1.25 inches. You can space them out and have as many as you want that fits the hopper.
** Think of this build as a container within a container. So you can use whatever you can find around the house. As long as the inner container (hopper) is secured with the outer container so it will not move around and there is enough space in between the containers for their heads to fit in. I even built a mini version of this using 2 plastic round containers for when they were a week or two old coz those store bought chick feeders are the worst.
** ALWAYS best to keep any type of feeders PROTECTED FORM RAIN. Moisture can create clogging issues and cause mold.
