Join us on our Panama Canal cruise adventure onboard the Celebrity Summit as we share the thrilling story of how we almost missed our ship in Puerto Vallarta! 🚢🌴

After getting off late due to remote work, we mistakenly thought we had until 5 PM for all aboard, only to find out the actual time was 3:30 PM! 😲 We spent the day exploring the walkable areas near the port, including Sam’s Club, Walmart, and the Galerias Vallarta Shopping Mall.

Discover the affordable Latin-themed snacks and souvenirs we found at Walmart, and join us for a meal at Vips—a casual restaurant chain in Mexico that feels like a Denny’s with a Latin flair. 🍽️ We also enjoyed delicious Boba Teas at the mall and explored various shops offering both American and local flavors.

Galerias Vallarta Shopping Mall is dog-friendly, so just make sure to clean up after your furry friend! 🐶 We returned to the port area around 2:30 PM, thinking we had plenty of time, and even went Live on TikTok while relaxing under some beautiful Mango trees.

Our day took a turn when bridge staff approached us at 3:40 PM, informing us that the ship was waiting only for us! 😱 We learned a valuable lesson about double-checking times and not relying solely on third-party ship trackers.
