In this Podcast we have discussed about the real experiences onboard ship and we have shed light on the most important topic of the industry .i.e waiting period.

As we are engineers, keep in mind that we spoke from that perspective.

The waiting period that we discussed about, is in reference to after clearing your COC exams (certificate of competency)

This transistion from a trainee to giving exams to joining a ship as an officer on watch takes a lot of time.
Expect approx an year or more.
So its a long wait filled with an emotional roller coaster ride and unemployment.

So it is important to discuss about how to cope up with this waiting period.
We have shared our Do's and Don'ts.
